Adopting a resident gives us an opportunity to have One-on-One visits with members in our supported assisted living facilities who do not have regular visitors. Many have often outlived their friends and family or are geographically separated from them. Whatever the reason John 15:13 states, "There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends." So let us give love like Jesus to the least of these. A consistent weekly or bi-weekly visit would make a huge difference in the lives and wellbeing of these residents.
