Ivan and Kimberly Tait met in south Texas. In 1983, four years and a few months into their marriage and two children later, they left their seemingly “normal” life with a home and garden and began traveling around America in an RV, preaching and ministering. The step of faith they took that year was the birth of What Matters Ministries and Missions. WMMM began with a passion and calling to preach the incredible message of the Bible and to obey it by rescuing orphans, widows, and the desperately poor around the world. Over the decades that they have been ministering, Ivan and Kimberly have seen countless lives impacted. The ministry has continued to grow with an orphanage and numerous widow’s homes in Guatemala and a feeding center in Kenya. Their children also now co-partner in the ministry, traveling and speaking and running the operations.
