Biography
Dr. Kurien Thomas started the ministry in the heart of India in 1945. He passed the ministry on to his son, Dr. Matthew Thomas, and he and his wife founded Central India Outreach (CIO) in 2006. Dr. Matthew’s vision was to impact the entire nation of India, but it has has surpassed that and is now impacting six nations. Dr. Matthew also founded Fellowship Churches of India and has been honored for his contribution to India, especially in journalism and literature.
Ministry Objectives
To educate in health awareness and provide free medical assistance
To promote self-employment, education, fine arts, and training in the vocational program
To care for the orphan
To restore the broken through a restoration program
To address drug addicts, human trafficking victims, incarcerated individuals, and individuals with mental issues
To train leaders at the Central India Theological Seminary and the Anna Ladies Bible College
To empower emerging leaders in the IndoVision 20/20 program who will then mentor 20 others
