Biography

Paul Crisan started Children’s World Embassy in Romania in 1990. Paul served as a pastor and evangelist in the underground church in Romania when it was under communist rule and was exiled from the country for preaching and passing out Bibles. He returned to Romania in 1989 and, after seeing firsthand the horrible living conditions of some of the orphans, Paul was compelled to help. He sold his home and used the proceeds to build better facilities at Gilau Orphanage. Since then, he has opened a two private children’s homes and has developed a plan to help orphaned children over the age of 18 to prepare them for life and to help them pursue a college education.
