What is your definition of living the dream? It seems that every moment of every day we are striving to attain promotions, status, popularity, and money. Perhaps living the dream isn’t about what you do. We at Church For All Nations believe that “living the dream” is based upon your true identity in Jesus Christ. Because when we realize that, church is no longer a building or an organization. It is experiencing God, connecting people, and serving others for life made better.
And Jesus came and said to them,”All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
In order to connect with people in a relevant way, we will use a strategy known as “Invest and Invite.” This is not an evangelism program but rather a grassroots effort to build relationships with neighbors, co-workers, and others in an effort to lead them to a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Once we invest in the lives of un-churched people and we connect with them in a relevant way, we want to reach them with the Gospel. CFAN will provide opportunities to bring your friends to a safe, clean, and inviting place where they will have the opportunity to hear the Gospel in a clear and relevant way.
The goal in this stage is to be transformed into the shining image of Jesus Christ. While that may be more difficult with some some of us than others, we all enter this world broken and in need of help. We are committed to providing you with the tools, classes, and resources that are needed in order to connect with the life God has for you. Small groups, mentorship, and church leadership are a few ways to help you with your spiritual growth so that you can take the next steps in your spiritual journey.
God has wired into the DNA of every living person a specific set of unique spiritual gifts. Success in ministry and in life rests in our ability to discover these gifts, to work to develop them, and then to utilize them in service to God. Your specific SHAPE consists of Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experience. We are committed to helping your to discover your SHAPE.
Romans 6:13 says, “Give yourself completely to God since you have been given a new life. And use your whole body as a tool to do what is right for the glory of God.” At the “deploy” stage of the spiritual journey, the goal is to strive for a life of absolute devotion. Our own will is now replaced with the will of God. Much like a graduation ceremony, this is a time for celebration. While it is impossible to become totally like Christ, it is possible to become fully devoted.
How does this program tie in with our young adults, youth, and children’s ministries?
In our task to accomplish, define our culture.
If you don’t know your gifts, how do you begin? Where do you start?
Is the plan to align members with the leaders of the D.R.E.A.M. sections? I.E., how/where do we (individually) plug into the DREAM process?
How do you keep from getting lost in the process?
If you don’t have a mentor in your life or someone pouring into you how can you find someone that is willing to?
